To help get everyone in the mood for thenationwide VE Day celebrations we thought we would hold a Village Picnic on theRecreation Ground. The plan is to erectthe marquee to provide a central space for everyone to gather, but the onuswill be on individuals and families to bring their own food and drink to theevent. It will be a great opportunity tomeet up with friends and neighbours, have a chat and possibly even play somegames. Please note if the weather looksabsolutely dreadful it probably isn’t worth putting up the marquee as it takesquite a lot of effort – so please cross your fingers for a bright and sunnyday!

The Parish Assembly is held on the same dayas the Parish Council AGM and regular meeting at 7pm on Thursday 15thMay in the Village Hall.
